A place where you can find "your bit of heaven".
Bit of Heaven Farm was established in 2004 as a small boarding and training facility. From 2004-2010, Bit of Heaven Farm operated off of seven acres in Millbrook, New York. During that time numerous horses started their careers in varying disciplines, children learned to ride, and adults honed their skills in order to enjoy their riding experience at a new level. In 2014, boarding and training operations opened up at a facility in LaGrange, New York.
The new facility, situated on 18 acres of pasture and wooded areas, is just an hour North of the city, minutes from the Taconic State Parkway. The barn, paddocks, and indoor have all been newly constructed since 2014.
Whether you are looking to ride for pleasure, begin your show career, or start a young horse we have something to offer. With an extensive background in Natural Horsemanship, each horse is started at the right pace with a solid foundation. Prior to the first ride the horse is more than well prepared for a variety of situations and is properly mentally and physically prepared for their first steps in training. The training techniques are consistently used to solve specific problems in relation to ground manners, trailer loading, or any difficulties under saddle. Once the basics are "installed", each horse and rider team can then be given the skills to progress on to more challenging and specialized work.
